Amy is a native Floridian, raised in the small, Gulf Coast town of Yankeetown. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business (and a concentration in International Hospitality Administration) and worked for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company LLC in Training & Development. It was then she realized her desire to work with individuals on a more personal level and discovered a love for teaching middle school mathematics for the next 15 years. It was after meeting her husband, Jeremy, that she moved to Gainesville.
Amy has always been active, dedicating 14 years of her young life to competitive gymnastics and the last decade to running and triathlons. After having her first son, Amy was looking for a low-impact, muscle toning, lifelong workout format.
She found what she was looking for with barre classes, and instantly fell in love with AUXO Fitness! It is the perfect complement to her running, and she always looks forward to the positive and supportive community, as well as the challenging and fun atmosphere, at AUXO Fitness.
When she’s not at the barre or running after her two sons, Amy loves camping, paddle boarding, kayaking, SCUBA diving, hiking, rock climbing, crafting, and playing the piano. She is passionate about family, music, and travel, having most recently explored the Bahamas, Galapagos, and Peru. Amy looks forward to seeing you soon at AUXO Fitness!
